Many of us on the “spiritual” path end up getting really stressed out because we work hard to fulfill what we believe is important, from the perspective of ideology. However, we cannot forget that our bodies are mortal and limited and deserve a rest from time to time. For those of you who also subscribe to my Great Documents Technical Writing blog, you will see basically the same suggestions there as well :)

The following ten tips will offer you a chance to relax, recharge, refresh, and re-enter your spiritual activities with new vigor and sense of direction:

One. Go for a walk and take some deep breaths.

Two. Go for a swim and allow your body to stretch, allowing for blood flow to all body parts.

Three. Go for a drive - new scenery is always refreshing.

Four. Go see a movie - find the movie you most want to see and experience it completely.

Five. Go call a friend - it is always great to connect directly with good friends and hear their voices.

Six. Go pray for someone - if you know someone that need prayer, they will be immensely grateful.

Seven. Clean your home - spring cleanings are for anytime - helping to release all negative energies.

Eight. Get a massage - this will help you to get relief from any physical pain you might have.

Nine. Read a good book - inspiration is the heart of all spiritual works. Good books have good lessons.

Ten. Laugh and Smile - go see some stand-up comedy or rent a cartoon movie - let go and laugh!!
